BREAKING IN" TO THE GOSPEL PRESENTATION

1. Initial Questions (to guide the conversation to the Gospel)
a. answer direct questions of the inquirer
b. "May I ask you a question?"
c. "_________, we've been friends for a while now, but there is something very important in my life that I've never had a chance to explain to you. Could I take a little while to talk with you about my relationship with Jesus Christ?" (then give your personal testimony, followed by an analytical questions).
d. "_________, in all of our time together, I've been afraid to tell you about the most important aspect of my life. Could I tell you about it?"
e. "I know I'm going to heaven, and __________, because I love you, I would like for you to go to heaven with me. Could I share with you what the Bible says about how to get to heaven?" (or, substitute "I know I have purpose in life," or, "I know Jesus Christ personally.")

3. Analytical Questions
a. "Are you interested in spiritual things?"
b. "Where are you in your spiritual pilgrimage? Where would you like to be?"
c. "If you were to die today, would you go to heaven?"
d. "If you were to die today and find yourself standing before God, and if God would ask you, '__________, why should I let you into My heaven?' what would you say?"
e. "In your opinion, who is Jesus Christ?"
